Trolls Immersive Fan Experience

Feld Entertainment needed to promote its Trolls movie franchise. Located in New York, they needed a permanent installation that could be in place for a few years. We transformed a 13,000-square-foot space into the “Perfect Day” experience that catered to families and allowed kids to feel like they were Trolls in the movie. Our team crafted over 100 custom props, creating an immersive Trolls experience that offered visitors a memorable and interactive journey through a series of themed environments.

Our Solution

We transformed a 13,000-square-foot space into a multi-level, immersive Trolls experience that captivated audiences of all ages. From initial concept to final installation, we handled every aspect of the project, including creative design, fabrication, and experiential layout. Our solution involved fabricating over 100 custom props, including 15 exact replicas of licensed characters from the movie, each standing over 7 feet tall.

The experience was packed with engaging features, such as a Troll-tastic makeover salon, a 3D concert by a main character, interactive music and game rooms, and the show-stopping 35-foot-long “Catterbus” interactive confetti wind tunnel. The journey culminated at a 15-foot-tall replica of the iconic “Troll Tree,” where kids could create scrapbooks of their adventure.

Over the course of eight months, our team meticulously designed, fabricated, and installed this expansive experience, providing onsite support throughout the three-week installation to ensure a flawless launch. 

Results

This project not only delighted visitors but also earned us a spot on Event Marketer’s prestigious FAB50 list. The touch sensing technology delivered powerful results by enabling real-time interaction with virtual characters and environments, significantly enhancing the overall experience. By creating personalized and interactive moments for each attendee, this technology not only elevated audience excitement but also substantially boosted retention and engagement levels. The immersive nature of this innovation led to a meaningful increase in audience interaction, driving positive outcomes and solidifying the event’s impact.
